REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 10 1992 1 1 carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices were approved: 1. NEW INSTALLATION: Speed Limit - 20MPH REMOVAL OF: Speed Limit - 30MPH LOCATION: Bercliff Estates Subdivision streets - Sylvan Glen Drive, Windingwood Drive, Wildemere Drive, Devonshire Drive, Oakcrest Drive and Timber,Lane REMARKS: Excessive speed in residential neighborhood. 2. REMOVAL OF: LOCATION: REMARKS: 3. NEW INSTALLATION: LOCATION: REMARKS:. Handicap 709 Altgeld Street Mrs. Hans Ivarson has moved. Handicap 1402 L.W.W. on Lawndale side Mrs. Josephine Pruett has severe arthritis in the hips and knees. APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS BONDS Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, recommended that the Bond of Contractor for Michael A. Lupresto be released effective August 10, 1992 and that the Bond of Contractor for Lawrence Levine be approved effective August 15, 1992. Mrs. Mueller therefore made a motion that the recommendations be accepted and the bonds be approved and/or released as indicated above. Mr.'Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Board is.in receipt of two (2) lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement indicating that one hundred six (106) miscellaneous properties were cleaned by the Department from July 27, 1992 to July 31, 1992. Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the lists be accepted for filing. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Caldwell stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has submitted claims in the amount of $656,792.42 and recommended approval. Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the claims be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE AMENDMENT TO MASTER LEASE AND APPROVE SUPPLEMENT TO MASTER LEASE - NORTHWEST INVESTMENT Board Attorney and Member Mary H. Mueller advised that Norwest Investment Services, Inc., Suite 1200, 100 East Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has submitted an Amendment to the Master Lease which the Board approved and executed on June 1, 1992. Mrs. Mueller noted that this Amendment is minor and has to do with cross-collateralization. Mrs. Mueller noted that the Supplement to Master Lease indicates that the amount to be financed is $152,238.30 and is for furniture and other items for Century Center. Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the Amendment and Supplement be approved and executed. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried.
