REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 10 1992 <br />1 <br />1 <br />carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: Speed Limit - 20MPH <br />REMOVAL OF: Speed Limit - 30MPH <br />LOCATION: Bercliff Estates Subdivision <br />streets - Sylvan Glen Drive, <br />Windingwood Drive, Wildemere Drive, <br />Devonshire Drive, Oakcrest Drive <br />and Timber,Lane <br />REMARKS: Excessive speed in residential <br />neighborhood. <br />2. REMOVAL OF: <br />LOCATION: <br />REMARKS: <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION: <br />LOCATION: <br />REMARKS:. <br />Handicap <br />709 Altgeld Street <br />Mrs. Hans Ivarson has moved. <br />Handicap <br />1402 L.W.W. on Lawndale side <br />Mrs. Josephine Pruett has severe <br />arthritis in the hips and knees. <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS BONDS <br />Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, recommended <br />that the Bond of Contractor for Michael A. Lupresto be released <br />effective August 10, 1992 and that the Bond of Contractor for <br />Lawrence Levine be approved effective August 15, 1992. Mrs. <br />Mueller therefore made a motion that the recommendations be <br />accepted and the bonds be approved and/or released as indicated <br />above. Mr.'Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Board is.in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that one hundred six (106) miscellaneous properties <br />were cleaned by the Department from July 27, 1992 to July 31, <br />1992. Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the lists be accepted for <br />filing. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has <br />submitted claims in the amount of $656,792.42 and recommended <br />approval. Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the claims <br />be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE AMENDMENT TO MASTER LEASE AND APPROVE SUPPLEMENT TO <br />MASTER LEASE - NORTHWEST INVESTMENT <br />Board Attorney and Member Mary H. Mueller advised that Norwest <br />Investment Services, Inc., Suite 1200, 100 East Wisconsin Avenue, <br />Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has submitted an Amendment to the Master <br />Lease which the Board approved and executed on June 1, 1992. <br />Mrs. Mueller noted that this Amendment is minor and has to do <br />with cross-collateralization. <br />Mrs. Mueller noted that the Supplement to Master Lease indicates <br />that the amount to be financed is $152,238.30 and is for <br />furniture and other items for Century Center. <br />Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the Amendment and <br />Supplement be approved and executed. Mr. Caldwell seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />
