Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the <br />applications be approved. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion <br />which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: <br />LOCATION: <br />REMARKS: <br />Handicap <br />Two (2) hour limit <br />On Westmore at Gate 9 - south <br />side of street <br />Bendix Corporation - Mr. Burl <br />Walters <br />No Parking 5 P.M. - 10 P.M. <br />Tuesdays and Thursdays <br />Linden, from College to <br />Birdsell - both sides <br />South Bend Police Department <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - MAY <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Humane Society of St. Joseph <br />County, IN, Inc., has submitted the monthly report for animals <br />handled for the City of South Bend for the month of May. It is <br />noted that the report indicates the type and number of animals <br />handled. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the report be <br />accepted for filing as submitted. Mrs. Mueller seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that seventy-two (72) miscellaneous properties were <br />cleaned by the Department from July 13, 1992 to July 16, 1992. <br />Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the lists be accepted for <br />filing. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has <br />submitted claims in the amount of $1,021,703.95 and recommended <br />approval.
