<br />Of Access To Public Right -of -Way For A Party Or Similar
<br />Event, requesting that Frederickson, from Johnson to O'Brien,
<br />be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4,
<br />1992 for a family picnic with the neighborhood invited.

<br />ASSUMPTION DRIVE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANNUAL PARISH FESTIVAL

<br />Father John F. Pfister, Pastor, St. Mary of the Assumption
<br />Church, 3501 South Locust Road, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />requested that a portion of Assumption Drive be closed on
<br />Sunday, August 9, 1992 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. in
<br />conjunction with the annual parish festival.
<br />- A.B.A.T.E. OF INDIANA, REGION I, TO CONDUCT ANNUAL MOTORCYCLE
<br />RIDE FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY - SEPTEMBER 7 1992
<br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Alien Gould, Director, Region
<br />I, A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana, 16434 County Road 8, Bristol,
<br />Indiana, advised that on Sunday, September 7, 1992,
<br />A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana, Region I, will be sponsoring a benefit
<br />motorcycle ride for Muscular Dystrophy. All of the proceeds
<br />collected from this event are donated to the Muscular
<br />Dystrophy Association. Over five hundred (500) motorcyclists
<br />participated in the St. Joseph County ride in 1991.
<br />Therefore, on behalf of A.B.A.T.E., they are requesting the
<br />assistance of the South Bend Police Department in bringing
<br />the ride through the City and for traffic control. The ride
<br />will begin at the Crumstown Conservation Club at 12:00 noon
<br />on September 7, 1992. Submitted with the request was the
<br />route of the ride and the intersections that will be in need
<br />of traffic control.
<br />- TO CONDUCT 10K WALK TO BENEFIT FARM SANCTUARY - OCTOBER 4,
<br />1992
<br />Ms. Janice Hildabridle, 5002 Cedarwood Lane, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, requested permission to conduct a 10K walk on
<br />Sunday, October 4, 1992 for the benefit of Farm Sanctuary, a
<br />shelter which houses abused farm animals. Ms. Hildabridle
<br />noted that the group of approximately fifteen (15)
<br />individuals would assemble in Pinhook Park, walk along
<br />Riverside Drive to Howard Park, and return to Pinhook along
<br />the same route.

<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and
<br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to requests which were
<br />submitted to the Board on March 16, 1992 and June 1, 1992, and
<br />approval is recommended. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion
<br />that the requests be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion
<br />which carried.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller
<br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were
<br />approved:
