REGULAR MEETING 2. Powell Highsmith 3806 Linden Avenue South Bend, Indiana MAY 11, 1992 3. J.J. Trucking (Mr. Jessie J. Love) 309 South Iowa Street South Bend, Indiana 4. R.L. Rubbish Removel (Robert Lacy) 1733 North College Street South Bend, Indiana It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used had been conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and all applicants were found to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of licenses. APPROVE CONTRACTORS BONDS Mr. Larry Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, recommended that the following Contractors Bonds be approved: Ronald Lindsley Effective 5-11-92 John Ruth Effective 5-11-92 Ervin Pejza Effective 5-5-92 Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bonds be approved. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE TITLE SHEET - HERMITAGE SOUTH ESTATES, SECTION 2 - PART 4 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was approved and signed. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of two (2) lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement indicating that forty-nine (49) miscellaneous properties were cleaned by the Department from April 27, 1992 to May 1, 1992. Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the lists be accepted for filing. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - MARCH 1992 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of a Monthly Service Report from the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, IN., Inc., indicating the types and numbers of animals handled for the City of South Bend for the month of March, 1992. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the report be accepted for filing as submitted. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has submitted claims in the amount of $473,225.17 and recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan A. Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, submitted a list of claims totalling $72,603.45 and recommended approval.
