108 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 6, 1992 <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - SECONDHAND DEALERS <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the following two (2) secondhand <br />dealers license applications have been received: <br />NAME: <br />BY: <br />ADDRESS: <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: <br />NAME: <br />BY: <br />ADDRESS: <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: <br />P & K FURNITURE <br />Ms. Karen Kay Raymond <br />1301 East Calvert Street <br />Used furniture and household <br />items <br />TREASURES FROM THE ATTIC <br />Ms. Laura L. Minix <br />1305 East Calvert Street <br />Secondhand furniture and <br />household accessories <br />It is noted that favorable recommendations have been received <br />from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department on the above <br />applications. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above license applications were <br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for <br />issuance of licenses. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of <br />recommendations from the Engineering Department that the <br />following bonds be approved and/or released as indicated: <br />EXCAVATION BOND <br />- Aaron Catanzarite, <br />Aaron's Plumbing <br />CONTRACTORS BOND <br />- Ronald D. Gest <br />- Mike Vrielynck <br />d/b/a <br />Approved <br />Approved <br />Released <br />Effective 4-6-92 <br />Effective 3-3-92 <br />Effective 4-6-92 <br />Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the Contractor's Bond <br />for Mike Vrielynck be released. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion <br />which carried. <br />Additionally, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Excavation Bond <br />for Aaron Catanzarite and the Contractor's Bond for Ronald Gest <br />be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and <br />carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Geyer Construction & <br />Development Company, P.O. Box 229, Lakeville, Indiana, was <br />accepted and filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has <br />submitted claims in the amounts of $669,104.32, $916,268.98 and <br />$607,511.41 and recommended approval. <br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the claims be approved <br />and the lists filed.
