All bus stop <br />shelters are proposed to be erected on the public <br />right-of-way along the street frontage and along TRANSPO <br />routes. In exchange for the exclusive concession to build <br />bus stop shelters in the public right-of-way, ShelterCom will <br />pay the City a semi-annual percentage equal to five per cent <br />(5%) of the gross receipts of ShelterCom during the preceding <br />six (6) month period derived from advertisements placed in <br />all bus stop shelters located on the rights -of -way. <br />- REQUEST FOR DESIGNATED HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE AT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of a <br />letter from Ms. Nancy Pabreza, Case Manager, Area Agency on <br />Aging/REAL Services of St. Joseph County, Inc., 622 North <br />Michigan Street, P.O. Box 1835, South Bend, Indiana, on <br />behalf of Ms. Mary Bailey, requesting that the parking space <br />in front of the house at 2421 Westmoor Street be designated <br />as a handicapped parking space. Ms. Pabreza noted that Ms. <br />Bailey is eighty-seven (87) years old and due to severe <br />arthritis and is unable to ambulate except with a cane. This <br />inhibits her ability to maneuver around or between cars which <br />park in front of her house and driveway. <br />REQUEST OF SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND <br />WSBT-TV TO ADD TRIATHLON EVENTS TO 8TH ANNUAL SUNBURST <br />MARATHON, 5K AND 10K FOOT RACES - JUNE 6, 1992 <br />Ms. Joyce Fox, Events Coordinator, South Bend Tribune, 225 <br />West Colfax Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, advised the Board <br />that due to the addition of a Triathlon (swim, bike and run) <br />to the list of Sunburst events, the sponsors of the Sunburst <br />are asking for permission to add this event. It is noted <br />that this event will begin at 8:00 a.m. on the lake on the <br />Campus of Notre Dame.
