REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 24, 1992 <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION: No Parking <br />LOCATION: 2434 Fredrickson <br />REMARKS: Requested by Mrs. Priebe. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - JANUARY, 1992 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of a Monthly <br />Report of Animals Handled for the City of South Bend as submitted <br />by the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, IN., Inc. Mrs. <br />DeClercq made a motion that the report as submitted be accepted <br />for filing. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that twenty-five (25) miscellaneous properties were <br />cleaned by the Department from February 11, 1992 to February 13, <br />1992. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the lists be accepted for <br />filing. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Deputy Controllers Office has <br />submitted claims in the amounts of $310,305.35 and $2,389,379.16 <br />and recommend approval. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />claims be approved and the reports be filed. Mr. Caldwell <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />GOOD-BYE AND GOOD LUCK TO BOARD MEMBER PATRICIA E. DE CLERC <br />Mr. Leszczynski informed everyone present that the meeting today <br />is the last Board meeting for member Patricia E. DeClercq, <br />Director, Department of Code Enforcement, who is retiring <br />effective March 1, 1992. Mr. Leszczynski thanked Mrs. DeClercq <br />for her help and assistance during the six (6) years she has <br />served on the Board. Mrs. DeClercq, in turn, thanked Board <br />President John E. Leszczynski for all of his direction during her <br />tenure on the Board and also thanked the Clerk of the Board, <br />Sandra M.
