<br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the request to advertise for
<br />the receipt of bids for the above equipment be approved. Mr.
<br />Caldwell seconded the motion which carried.
<br />AWARD QUOTATION FOR RENOVATION OF COMPRESSOR BUILDING
<br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director,
<br />Division of Engineering, advised that on December 6, 1993, the
<br />Board opened one (1) Quotation for the remodeling of two (2) rooms
<br />in the Compressor Building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Mr.
<br />Littrell noted that he has reviewed the Quotation and found that
<br />the amount is correct as read at the meeting. Therefore, Mr.
<br />Littrell recommended that the Board award the Quotation of
<br />Ziolkowski Construction, Inc., 1005 South Lafayette Boulevard,
<br />P.O. Box 1106, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $15,688.00.
<br />The price is for one lump sum for all the specified work. A
<br />deduct price of $1,329.00 was submitted for one alternate item.
<br />It is recommended at this time that this alternate not be
<br />accepted. Mr. Littrell further noted that the Division of
<br />Environmental Services concurs with this recommendation.
<br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Quotation of
<br />Ziolkowski Construction, Inc., in the amount of $15,688.00 be
<br />awarded. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried.
