REGULAR MEETING <br />The regular meeting of the Board of <br />9:34 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 1993, <br />Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, <br />Mary H. Mueller present. <br />JULY 26, 1993 <br />Public Works was convened at <br />by Board President John E. <br />Mr. James R. Caldwell and Mrs. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and <br />carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held on <br />July 19, 1993, were approved <br />Mr. Richard Nussbaum, City Attorney, addressed the Board and <br />advised that they have before them a License Agreement between the <br />National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Inc., and <br />the City of South Bend. Mr. Nussbaum reminded members of the <br />Board that this is the same Agreement that was discussed at the <br />Special Meeting of the Board held on July 22, 1993. Mr. Nussbaum <br />further mentioned that on Friday, July 23, 1993, the Century <br />Center Board of Managers unanimously approved and executed a <br />Management Agreement for the Hall of Fame project. <br />Mr. Nussbaum informed members of the Board that the signatory <br />ready Agreements submitted today also contain the Exhibits that <br />were referred to at the Special Meeting. He noted that he has <br />reviewed the Exhibits to the License Agreement. In conclusion Mr. <br />Nussbaum stated that this is a great day for South Bend to move <br />forward with this project. <br />Mr. Caldwell and Mr. Leszczynski thanked and congratulated Mr. <br />Nussbaum and Project Manager Michele Dobski Shidler for their hard <br />work in this endeavor. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the License <br />Agreement be approved and executed. Mr. Caldwell seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - CAR WASHES FOR CITY VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for <br />the above referred to service. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County <br />News which were found to be sufficient. The following bid was <br />opened and publicly read: <br />HI -SPEED AUTO WASH <br />609 East LaSalle <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Bid was signed by Mr. Nate Cossman, Non -Collusion Affidavit was <br />in order and a Treasurer's Check in the amount of $600.00 was <br />submitted. <br />BID: <br />Full Service Car Wash, 0-100 units per month $6.50 each <br />Full -Service Car Wash, 100 or more units per <br />month $6.25 each <br />Wet Wash only, 1-100 units per month $3.75 each <br />Wet Wash only, 100 or more units per month $3.50 each <br />Jeeps $7.50 each <br />Motorcycles $6.00 each <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and <br />carried, the above bids were referred to the Police Department for <br />review and recommendation. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
