GU <br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 19, 1993 <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF PERMIT BOND - MEMORIAL SKYWALK PLAZA PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of a <br />Memorandum from Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of <br />Engineering, recommending that Permit Bond No. BLZ-1667559, dated <br />August 19, 1988, in the amount of $300,000.00 as submitted by <br />Memorial Holladay Office Park Associates, for the installation of <br />barricades and a fence in the public right-of-way in conjunction <br />with the Memorial Skywalk Plaza Project, 614 North Michigan <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, be released effective July 19, 1993. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted <br />and the bond be released. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, recommended <br />that the Board release the Excavation Bond for A & R Septic Tank <br />Company, Inc., effective July 19, 1993. 'Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bond be <br />released. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEETS: <br />- CORBY STREET LIFT STATION AND REPLACEMENT AND FORCEMAIN <br />EXTENSION <br />- STORM SEWER PROJECT - MAIN STREET FROM ST. JOSEPH RIVER TO <br />NAVARRE STREET <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and <br />signed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Department of Code Enforcement has <br />submitted two (2) lists containing sixty-nine (69) City owned and <br />miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the Department from <br />July 6, 1993 to July 8, 1993. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that <br />the lists as submitted be accepted for filing. Mrs. Mueller <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount <br />of $295,029.62 and recommended approval.
