Mrs. Mueller noted <br />that Murdock and Sons Construction, Inc., 131 South Taylor Street, <br />South Bend, Indiana, was a subcontractor on this project who <br />subcontracted with Kuert Concrete, Inc. <br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Notice be accepted <br />for filing. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEETS: <br />- IRONWOOD/CONRAIL GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT - PHASE IV - NORTH <br />IRONWOOD DRIVE CONSTRUCTION <br />- F. JAY NIMTZ PARKWAY - PHASE II (1000' EAST OF MAYFLOWER ROAD TO <br />OLD CLEVELAND ROAD WEST OF BENDIX DRIVE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and <br />carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and <br />signed. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, recommended <br />that the Board approve the following bonds: <br />CONTRACTORS BONDS <br />Multi -Trades Construction Effective 7-12-93 <br />- Don's Concrete & Restoration, Inc. Effective 7-12-93 <br />EXCAVATION BOND <br />R & B Excavating, Inc. Effective 7-9-93 <br />3310 Nutmeg Road <br />Plymouth, IN <br />Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and <br />the bonds as outlined above be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded <br />the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL LICENSE APPLICATION <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the following Rubbish and Garbage Removal <br />Service license application has been received: <br />1. Douglas Guest <br />225 South Logan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />It was noted that an inspection of the truck to be used was <br />conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and the applicant was found to <br />be in compliance. Additionally, the Department of Code <br />Enforcement has reviewed this application and recommends approval. <br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the application be <br />approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Department of Code Enforcement has <br />submitted two (2) lists containing two hundred seventy-seven (277) <br />City owned and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the <br />Department from June 21, 1993 to July 1, 1993. Mr. Caldwell made <br />a motion that the lists as submitted be accepted for filing. Mrs. <br />Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount <br />fl <br />1 <br />
