Marciniak advised <br />that the Department wishes to have seven (7) police owned bicycles <br />declared obsolete for purposes of offering them as trade-ins for <br />new bicycles. <br />Chief Marciniak noted that these bicycles were purchased in May of <br />1990 and are now worn beyond normal usefulness to the Department. <br />The derailers, seats, sprockets, tires, rims and cables have <br />reached the end of their useful life.
