Parmerlee,Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2.0-1993 - CONVEYING FOUR (4) PARCELS OF <br />PROPERTY TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY <br />Board Attorney and Member Mary H. Mueller informed members of the <br />Board that four (4) parcels of property, which the City recently <br />acquired from the County, are being requested by Habitat for <br />Humanity for construction of housing for low-income individuals. <br />Therefore, Mrs. Mueller has prepared the appropriate Resolution <br />which is being submitted at this time. Mr. Caldwell,therefore, <br />made a motion that the Resolution be adopted. Mrs. Mueller <br />seconded the motion which carried, and the following Resolution <br />No. 20-1993 was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-1993 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS <br />OF REAL PROPERTY TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY <br />OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana (hereinafter the <br />"City"), is the owner of four (4) parcels of real property <br />situated in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, <br />and being more particularly described as follows: <br />Key No. 18-5078-2733 <br />Lot 8 of Happ & Taggart's 1st Addition to <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly <br />known as 1206 East Sorin Street, <br />Key No. 18-5085-3027 <br />Lot 54 of Park Place 2nd Addition to the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly <br />known as 1201 East Sorin Street, <br />Key No. 18-5167-6420 <br />Lot 32 of Hartmans Twyckenham Plat to the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly <br />known as 1429 Campeau, <br />Key No. 18-5091-3229 <br />Thirty-eight and one-third foot of the <br />West side of Lot 327 in Coquillard Farm <br />Plat Property Addition to the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, commonly known as <br />1356 Corby Street; and <br />WHEREAS, said real property was obtained by the City from St. <br />Joseph County from among the parcels held for the County Owned <br />Property Sale for the purchase price of One Dollar ($1.00) per <br />parcel, with the understanding that the City would use such <br />parcels for community and economic development purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the care, custody and control of City -owned real <br />
