Box 1043, South Bend, Indiana, submitted an <br />Application For Use Of And Blocking Of Access To Public <br />Right -of -Way For A Party Or Similar Event, requesting that <br />William Street, from Western Avenue to the cul-de-sac in <br />front of the Coveleski Regional Baseball Stadium, be closed <br />from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 1993, for a <br />Cancer Survivors Day Picnic. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CLOSE BROADWAY, FROM MICHIGAN STREET TO FELLOWS <br />STREET, IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHRISTMAS IN APRIL PROGRAM - APRIL 17, <br />1993 <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Kathryn Baumgartner, on behalf of <br />the Christmas in April Program, 521 Eclipse Place, South Bend, <br />Indiana, advised that Christmas in April will be performing <br />repairs on forty-seven (47) homes in the southeast neighborhood <br />Saturday, April 17, 1993, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Nearly <br />3,500 volunteers will participate in the project on that day. <br />order to facilitate the timely and orderly transport of <br />volunteers, all will be bussed to the parking lot of Broadway <br />Christian Church from either Notre Dame or Riley High School's <br />on <br />In <br />parking lots. In addition, Broadway Christian's parking lot will <br />be used as the celebration and pick-up site for the volunteers at <br />the end of the day. <br />
