Parmerlee, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS <br />The following Community Development Contracts were presented to <br />the Board for approval: <br />SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goals for this activity are to provide <br />Neighborhood Watch program services to an additional six <br />thousand (6,000) new households, comprising <br />approximately sixty (60) new Neighborhood Watch groups, <br />within the NRA and to provide additional specialized <br />crime analysis for those crimes reported to occur within <br />the NRA which information can be used by Neighborhood <br />Watch groups and Neighborhood Patrols in the NRA. The <br />total cost of this activity shall not exceed <br />$100,000.00. <br />SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PATROL ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to provide five <br />thousand four hundred (5,400) hours of directed polio <br />patrol of suspected drug house locations within the NRA. <br />The total cost of this activity shall not exceed <br />$100,000.00. <br />CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS <br />PLAYGROUND ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to provide <br />1 <br />1 <br />
