081, <br />1 <br />1 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 15, 1993 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:33 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 1993, by Board President John E. <br />Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski and Mrs. Mary_H. Mueller <br />present. Board member James R. Caldwell was not in attendance. <br />AGENDA ITEM STRICKEN <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, Resolution No. 13-1993, approving the execution of a <br />Master Lease and related documents with Indiana Bond Bank was <br />stricken from the agenda at this time. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of tip# Board held <br />on March 8, 1993, were approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - REFURBISHING OF ONE (1) 1500 GPM 3-D PUMPER <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />receiving and opening of bids for the refurbishing of one (1) 1500 <br />GPM 3-D Pumper for the South Bend Fire Department. The Clerk <br />tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The <br />following bids were opened and read: <br />RENEWED PERFORMANCE. INC. <br />P.O. Box 196 <br />Tipton, Indiana 46072 <br />Bid was signed by Mr. Raymond D. <br />Collusion Affidavit was in order, <br />Commitment form was completed and <br />$6,888.20. <br />BID: $68,882.00 <br />TPS, INC. <br />3650 West Minnesota Street <br />Indianapolis, Indiana 47241 <br />Salati, President, <br />Non -Discrimination <br />a Bid Bond in the <br />Non - <br />amount of <br />Bid was signed by Mr. Patrick A. Lorber, Non -Collusion <br />Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form <br />was completed and a ten per cent (10%) Bid Bond was <br />submitted. <br />BID: $69,400.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, the above bids were referred to the Fire Department <br />for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - MICROCOMPUTERS AND PERIPHERALS <br />This was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed bids <br />for the purchase of the following microcomputer and peripherals, <br />in the quantities stated, more or less: <br />Thirty-five (35) 386/25 Computers <br />Three (3) 486/50 Computers <br />Two (2) Narrow Carriage Dot Matrix Printers <br />Thirteen (13) Wide Carriage Dot Matrix Printers <br />One (1) Epson DFX5000 or equal <br />One (1) Star NX-2420 or equal <br />Two (2) Laser Printers <br />Twenty-five (25) VGA Color Monitors <br />Twenty-seven (27) Mice <br />Two (2) External Modems <br />
