Mr. Caldwell seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - SECONDHAND DEALERS <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the following secondhand dealers <br />license application has been received: <br />NAME: <br />BY: <br />ADDRESS: <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: <br />INDIANA FURNITURE <br />Fred Romine <br />742 West Indiana Avenue <br />Used furniture <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations <br />have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire <br />Department concerning the above application. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the <br />above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's office for issuance of a license. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following four (4) Rubbish and <br />Garbage license applications have been received: <br />1. Powell Highsmith <br />3806 Linden <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />2. Oscar Moody, Jr. <br />5227 Linden Avenue <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />3. Grayson R. Warren, Jr. <br />220 Seebirt Place <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />4. Milton Lax <br />750 North Olive <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used have been <br />conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and all applicants were found <br />to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above license <br />applications were approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's office for issuance of licenses. <br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Larry D. <br />Division of Engineering, recommended that <br />in Streets for Mateco Drilling Company, be <br />February 15, 1993. Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />recommendation be accepted and the bond be <br />Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />Spradlin, Sr., <br />the Bond for Excavation <br />approved effective <br />motion that the <br />approved. Mrs. <br />FILING ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Department of Code Enforcement <br />has submitted two (2) lists containing twenty-two (22) City owned <br />and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the Department <br />from February 1, 1993 to February 4, 1993. Mrs. Mueller made a <br />motion that the lists as submitted be accepted for filing. Mr. <br />Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin C. Horton, City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />
