<br />1994, for the equipment listed below. The vendors that bid this
<br />equipment have lost their fleet discount which has caused the bids
<br />to be much higher than anticipated. Additionally, Mr. Chlebowski
<br />asked that the bid award for a full size cargo van which was made
<br />on June 6, 1994, to Jordan Ford be rejected. The vendor cannot
<br />supply the unit bid. Finally, Mr. Chlebowski requested that the
<br />Board readvertise for the equipment listed below which is to be
<br />used by several City departments:

<br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the bids received on May 2,
<br />1994, for the above equipment, be rejected, that the bid awarded
<br />on June 6, 1994, to Jordan Ford be rescinded and the request to
<br />readvertise for the receipt of bids be approved. Mr. Caldwell
<br />seconded the motion which carried.

<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the above referred to requests, which
<br />were submitted to the Board on July 25, 1994 and August 1, 1994,
<br />have been reviewed by the appropriate City departments and bureaus
<br />and approval is recommended. Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion
<br />that these requests be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion
<br />which carried.

<br />be closed on Saturday, August 27, 1994, from 3:00 p.m, to 9:00
<br />p.m. -for a neighborhood block party. Ms. Peralta noted that a
<br />rain date of Sunday, August 28, 1994, has been set. Mr.
<br />Leszczynski made a motion that this request be referred to the
<br />appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and
<br />recommendation. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried.
