Box 577 LaPorte, Indiana July 5, 1994 $412,630.60 BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE LANDSCAPING REINHART'S LANDSCAPING, INC. 316 South llth Street Decatur, Indiana July 5, 1994 $20,489.50 Upon separate motions made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Contracts, as outlined above, were approved and executed. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (FINAL) AND PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR PHASE lA - CONTRACT 2 Mr. Caldwell advised that Murdock and Sons Construction, 131 South Taylor Street, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted Change Order No. 1 (Final) indicating that the Contract amount for the above referred to project be increased by $604.00 for a new Contract sum, including this Change Order, in the amount of $22,070.50. Additionally submitted was the Project Completion Affidavit indicating this new final cost. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, Change Order No. 1 (Final) and the Project Completion Affidavit were approved. FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - VACATION OF THE 1ST E/W ALLEY S. OF JEFFERSON BOULEVARD Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as completed by Mr. Raymond Garrett, GSA, 575 North Pennsylvania Street, Room 692, Indianapolis, Indiana, to vacate the following alley: The first east/west alley south of Jefferson Boulevard running east from the east right-of-way line of South Main Street to the first intersecting north/south alley east of Main Street for a distance of approximately 165 feet and a width of 14 feet; located between Lots 292 and 291 in the original plat of town, now City of South Bend, Indiana The ordinance submitted with the Petition indicates that the purpose of this vacation is to prevent vehicle exhausts from entering the Robert A. Grant Federal Office Building and Courthouse adversely affecting building employees. Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Police r, u 1 [.1
