Box 577 <br />LaPorte, Indiana <br />July 5, 1994 <br />$412,630.60 <br />BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE LANDSCAPING <br />REINHART'S LANDSCAPING, INC. <br />316 South llth Street <br />Decatur, Indiana <br />July 5, 1994 <br />$20,489.50 <br />Upon separate motions made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. <br />Manier and carried, the Contracts, as outlined above, were <br />approved and executed. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (FINAL) AND PROJECT COMPLETION <br />AFFIDAVIT - STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR PHASE lA - CONTRACT 2 <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that Murdock and Sons Construction, 131 South <br />Taylor Street, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted Change Order No. <br />1 (Final) indicating that the Contract amount for the above <br />referred to project be increased by $604.00 for a new Contract <br />sum, including this Change Order, in the amount of $22,070.50. <br />Additionally submitted was the Project Completion Affidavit <br />indicating this new final cost. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, Change Order No. 1 <br />(Final) and the Project Completion Affidavit were approved. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - VACATION OF THE 1ST E/W ALLEY S. OF <br />JEFFERSON BOULEVARD <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to <br />the Board a Vacation Petition as completed by Mr. Raymond Garrett, <br />GSA, 575 North Pennsylvania Street, Room 692, Indianapolis, <br />Indiana, to vacate the following alley: <br />The first east/west alley south of Jefferson Boulevard <br />running east from the east right-of-way line of South Main <br />Street to the first intersecting north/south alley east of <br />Main Street for a distance of approximately 165 feet and a <br />width of 14 feet; located between Lots 292 and 291 in the <br />original plat of town, now City of South Bend, Indiana <br />The ordinance submitted with the Petition indicates that the <br />purpose of this vacation is to prevent vehicle exhausts from <br />entering the Robert A. Grant Federal Office Building and <br />Courthouse adversely affecting building employees. <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable <br />recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Police <br />r, <br />u <br />1 <br />[.1 <br />
