335 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 13, 1994 <br />Therefore, the Police Department requests that the Board advertise <br />for an auction to be conducted by a licensed auctioneer. The date <br />of the auction will be 6:00 p.m. July 26, 1994. The auction will <br />be conducted at the front parking lot of the police station at 701 <br />West Sample Street. A public viewing of the auto will be <br />conducted on July 23, 1994 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that this request be approved. Mr. <br />Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONTRACT FOR SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY AT PUBLIC AUCTION - <br />KASER AUCTION SERVICE <br />Submitted to the Board for consideration was a Contract for Sale <br />of Personal Property at Public Auction as submitted by Mr. Carl <br />Kaser, Kaser's Auction Service, 68099 Sycamore Road, North <br />Liberty, Indiana, to conduct an auction on Tuesday, July 26, 1994 <br />at 6:00 p.m. in front of the South Bend Police Department at 701 <br />West Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana. The item to be auctioned <br />is a 1933 Style Ford Victoria Kit Car. The reserve bid for this <br />automobile is $20,000.00. Kaser's Auction Service will receive a <br />two per cent (20) commission for this auction. Mr. Leszczynski <br />made a motion that this Contract be approved. Mr. Caldwell <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE REQUESTS TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS: <br />- SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />- CAR WASHES <br />- COPY MACHINE - DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />Mrs. Kathy Dempsey, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, <br />requested permission to advertise for the sale of approximately <br />twenty (20) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Super <br />Auto Salvage Corporation, 3300 South Main Street, South Bend, <br />Indiana. It was noted that all vehicles have been stored more <br />than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for <br />auto theft and the owners and lienholders notified. <br />ditionally, Police Chief Ronald G.
