Chlebowski, Director, <br />Division of Equipment Services, requested that the Board advertise <br />for the receipt of bids for the following: <br />ONE, OR MORE, VIBRATORY ASPHALT COMPACTORS <br />ONE, OR MORE, HYDRAULIC BUCKET MACHINES <br />ONE, OR MORE, SEWER TV INSPECTION SYSTEMS <br />ONE, OR MORE, JET RODDER/VACUUM MACHINES <br />TWO, MORE OR LESS, 20 YARD PACKER CAB/CHASSIS <br />Additionally, Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, requested that <br />the Board advertise for the receipt of the following items which <br />represents computer, printer and computer related specifications <br />for the City's Supplemental 1994 Computer Purchase Plan: <br />ONE, OR MORE, 486SX/25 COMPUTER WITH SPECIFICATIONS <br />ONE, OR MORE, 586DX/60 FILE SERVER WITH SPECIFICATIONS <br />ONE, OR MORE, MOTOROLA UDS 9645 OR EQUIVALENT <br />ONE, OR MORE, PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER WITH <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />ONE, OR MORE, MACINTOSH COMPUTER SYSTEM WITH PRINTER <br />Finally, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, <br />requested that the Board advertise for the receipt of bids for the <br />HVAC Upgrade at Administration Building - South Bend Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant Project. Mr. Littrell noted that Lunen Engineers <br />is preparing the plans and specifications for this project. <br />M,. Caldwell made a motion that the requests, as outlined above, <br />b approved. JOSEPH COUNTY AIDS TASK FORCE TO CONDUCT CANDLELIGHT <br />PROCESSION - JUNE 15, 1994 <br />FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH TO CONDUCT WALK - MAY 15 1994 <br />- MAURICE MATTHYS LITTLE LEAGUE, INC. TO CONDUCT OPENING DAY <br />PARADE - MAY 14, 1994 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the above referred to requests from <br />the Interfaith Christian Union, the St. Joseph County AIDS Task <br />Force and the First United Methodist Church, which were submitted <br />to the Board on March 14, 1994, April 25, 1994 and May 2, 1994, <br />have been reviewed by the appropriate City departments and bureaus <br />an4 approval is recommended. <br />Additionally, the request of Mr. Rick L. Kring, Opening Day <br />Chairman, Maurice Matthys Little League, Box 3074, South Bend, <br />Indiana, to conduct the annual opening day parade on Saturday, May <br />14, 1994, at 9:00 a.m., has been reviewed by the necessary <br />de artments and approval is recommended. <br />Th refore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the requests be <br />ap roved. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />AP ROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS - <br />SE VICES OF COLLECTION AGENCY FOR PAST DUE AMBULANCE ACCOUNTS <br />Fi-e Chief Luther Taylor advised that the South Bend Fire <br />Department E.M.S. Division utilizes the services of a collection <br />agency for past due ambulance accounts. Chief Taylor requested <br />th t the Board advertise for the receipt of Proposals for the debt <br />
