- 169
REGULAR MEETING APRIL 4, 1994
The parking study indicated that a survey was conducted on March
29, 1994 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pursuant to ordinance
requirements, curb space must be occupied seventy-five per cent
(75%) of the time. Additionally, curb space must be occupied by
non-residents at least twenty-five per cent (25%) of the time.
It was reported that the Petition requested that the parking
spaces in front of 703 to 711 Leland be designated as restricted
parking. It was noted that both sides of the street, east and
west, are available for parking as there are no houses on the east
side of the street. There are sixteen (16) parking spaces
available. Nine (9) parking spaces are available on the west side
and seven (7) spaces are available on the east side.
The results of the study indicate that curb space was occupied
only thirty-nine per cent (39%) of the time.
