<br />REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 30. 1995
<br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - GRIT CHANNEL REBUILD - PROJECT NO 95-75A
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed
<br />Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and read:

<br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Daniel F. Clark, Secretary/Treasurer
<br />QUOTATION: $24,000.00
<br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above Quotations
<br />were referred to the Division of Environmental Services for review and recommendation.
<br />AWARD BID - SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION - BLACKTHORN CORPORATE PARK -
<br />LOTS 4A AND 4B - PROJECT NO. 95-83
<br />Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, advised the Board that on October 23, 1995,
<br />bids were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to HRP Construction, 5777 Cleveland Road,
<br />South Bend, Indiana in the amount of $34,417.00. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mrs. Manier seconded the
<br />motion which carried.
<br />AWARD BID - ORGANIC RESOURCES OFFICE UPGRADE - PROJECT NO 95-71
<br />Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, advised the Board that on October 23, 1995,
<br />bids were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to Kaser-Spraker Construction, Inc., 25487
<br />West State Road 2, South Bend, Indiana in the amount of $36,850.00. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell
<br />made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above.
<br />Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried.
<br />AWARD BID - INSTALLATION OF EXHAUST SYSTEMS IN SOUTH BEND FIRE
<br />STATIONS - PROJECT NO. 95-84
<br />Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, advised the Board that on October 23, 1995,
<br />bids were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to O.J. Shoemaker, 1008 Lincoln Way West,
<br />South Bend, Indiana in the amount of $250,227.50. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that
<br />the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mrs. Manier seconded
<br />the motion which carried.
<br />AWARD QUOTATION - CLAYTON DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT - PROJECT NO
<br />95-72
<br />Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, advised the Board that on October 23, 1995,
<br />quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those
<br />qutations, Mr. Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to Northern Indiana
<br />Construction Company, Post Office Box 1333, Mishawaka, Indiana in the amount of $5,430.00.
<br />Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be
<br />awarded as outlined above. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried.
