Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD PROPOSAL - 1995 DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES - AMBULANCE ACCOUNTS - <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief Luther Taylor, South Bend Fire Department, advised the Board that on May 15, 1995, <br />proposals were received and opened for the above referred to service. After reviewing those <br />proposals, Chief Taylor recommends Michiana Audit Service, Inc. 3015 Mishawaka Avenue, South <br />Bend, Indiana for collection of the 1995 accounts as follows: <br />MAS INCORPORATED <br />3015 Mishawaka Avenue <br />South Bend, Indiana 46615 <br />PROPOSAL: Collection of Accounts: 22% - Phase I <br />50% - Phase II <br />Therefore, Mrs. Manier made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the proposal be <br />awarded as outlined above. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BID - TWO (2) FULL SIZE SUBURBANS <br />Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment Services, advised the Board that on May <br />22, 1995, bids were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those <br />bids, Mr. Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to Gates Chevrolet, 401 S. <br />Lafayette, South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />1995 Full Size Suburban $26,640.00 each <br />TOTAL Two (2) Units $59,280.00 <br />Trade -Ins: 1991 Suburban ($10,500.00) <br />1985 GMC Blazer ($ 2,300.00) <br />NET TOTAL $46,480.00 <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be <br />awarded as outlined above. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BID - SINGLE AXLE DUMP TRUCK WITH SNOW EQUIPMENT <br />Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment Services, advised the Board that on April <br />10, 1995, bids were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those <br />bids, Mr. Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to Wise International, 4849 <br />West Western, South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />1996 2554 wx2 Cab and Chassis $42,256.72 <br />Snow Equipment, Deeds Equipment $15,902.00 <br />NET TOTAL $58,158.72 <br />
