REGULAR MEETING MAY 22. 1995 OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM - ETHNIC FESTIVAL - PROJECT NO.94-87 Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and read: TRANS TECH ELECTRIC 4601 Cleveland Road South Bend, Indiana 46628 Quotation was submitted by Mr. John Martell, Vice President QUOTATION: $22,810.00 HERRMAN & GOETZ, INC. 225 S. Lafayette South Bend, Indiana 46601 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Thomas J. Herrman, President QUOTATION: $21,955.00 Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above Quotations were referred to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - FIELD COATING WORK_ IRELAND STATION RESERVOIR - ICARUS INDUSTRIAL PAINTING - PROJECT NO 94-94 Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the bid awarded on May 1, 1995, to Icarus Industrial Painting & Contracting Co., Inc., Post Office Box 5177, Lake Station, Indiana, in the amount of $240,932.50 for the above referred to project, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Contract was approved and the appropriate Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as submitted were filed. APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT The following Community Development Contract was presented to the Board for approval: Contract Amount Purpose South Bend Heritage $120,000.00 Administration -Southeast Housing Project Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above referred to Contract was approved and executed. APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS - CENTURY CENTER REMODELING - REINKE CONSTRUCTION - PROJECT NO. 94-83 Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Edward L. Benson, Project Coordinator, Reinke Construction, 1216 West Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted the following Change Orders for the above referred to project and recommended approval: Change Order Amount New Contract Sum G-5 Increase $25,004.96 $2,291,086.80 G-6 Increase $ 7,005.00 $2,298,091.80 G-7 Increase $ 8,832.66 $2,306,474.46 G-8 Increase $24,815.70 $2,331,290.16 Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Change Orders were approved.
