1 <br />REGULAR MEETING APRIL 3, 1995 <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the following <br />Certificates of Insurance were accepted for filing: <br />Woodruff & Sons, Inc. <br />Post Office Box 450 <br />Michigan City, Indiana 46361 <br />Montgomery Kone Inc. <br />One Montgomery Court <br />Moline, Illinois 61265 <br />Warner & Sons <br />Post Office Box 87 <br />Elkhart, Indiana 46515 <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $411,732.54 and <br />recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern <br />Indiana, submitted one (1) list containing claims in the amount of $187,533.64 and recommended <br />approval. Mrs. Manier made a motion that the claims be approved and the reports as submitted be <br />filed. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Mike Danch, a representative of Peirce & Associates was present, and inquired of the status of <br />the request to leave the existing free-standing signs for 3575 Portage Road where they are presently <br />located. It was discovered that the existing signs were placed improperly by the sign company, <br />which came to their attention after a survey was performed. This request was sent to the appropriate <br />Bureaus for recommendation on March 13, 1995. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded <br />by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the request was approved, subject to review by the Legal Department, <br />and a revokable license to be prepared by the Legal Department. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, <br />seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:16 a.m. <br />TEST: <br />Angela .
