REGULAR MEETING MARCH 20, 1995 APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO MOVE FLAG POLES - HOLIDAY INN - DOWNTON Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board has received favorable recommendations from the Legal Department, Police Department, Building Commissioner, Redevelopment and Design Review Committee, and the Division of Engineering, concerning the request from Holiday Inn Downtown to relocate pre-existing flag poles from the Main Street side to the Washington Street Side, subject to suitable location without interference with street lighting which may require removal of tree and grate. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczysnki, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF REQUESTS TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczysnki, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following requests to advertise for the receipt of bids were approved: - ABANDONED VEHICLES Ms. Kathy Dempsey, Director, Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for approximately twenty-four (24) abandoned vehicles. - MISCELLANEOUS VEHICLES - EQUIPMENT SERVICES In a letter to the Board, Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Equipment Services, requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the following equipment: Four (4) Mid Size Program Car Two (2) Compact Program Car One (1) New Compact Auto One (1) Utility Vehicle Three (3) 3/4 Ton Pick -Up One (1) 3/4 Ton 4WD Pick -Up One (1) 3/4 Ton Extended Chassis Two (2) 3/4 Ton 4WD Suburban One (1) 4WD Compact Pick -Up One (1) FWD Cargo Mini Van One (1) Full Size Cargo Van One (1) 15000 lb. GVW Chassis Two (2) S/A Dump Truck One (1) T/A Dump Truck One (1) Jet Rodder/Vacuum Machine One (1) Set Hydraulic Bucket Machine Two (2) Portable Air Compressor - ARCHITECTURAL SIGNAGE - COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME In a letter to the Board, Mr. David W. Fox, Gerard Hilferty and Associates, Inc., 14240 Route 550, Athens, Ohio, requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for architectural signage for the College Football Hall of Fame. - POLYMERS - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - REBID In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Robert Toppel, Wastewater Treatment Plant, requested permission to re -advertise for the receipt of bids for polymers. Mr. Toppel stated that due to a process upset in the digester, the dates for polymer evaluation must be moved ahead approximately sixty (60) days. - STREET MATERIALS In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for 1995 Street Materials to be used by the Street Department, Sewer Department and other City agencies during the coming construction season.
