REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 13, 1995 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following two <br />(2) traffic control devices were approved: <br />REMOVAL OF: 30 Minute Parking Sign <br />CHANGE TO: 1-Hour Parking Sign <br />LOCATION: 1600 Mishawaka Avenue, South Side, Bellevue to Esther <br />REMARKS: All business owners in the 1600 block of the Avenue <br />REMOVAL OF: 1 Handicap Space <br />CHANGE TO: 2 Hour Handicap Space <br />LOCATION: 530 N. Lafayette, South Bend Medical Foundation <br />REMARKS: Reduce handicap space to one (1) 25' space <br />Main Street Side <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEETS - IRONWOOD DRIVE, PHASE 2 AND SOUTH BEND WATER <br />WORKS BUILDING <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheets for the above referred to projects were being presented <br />at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and <br />carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and signed. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - DECEMBER 1994 <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Board is in receipt of the monthly report as submitted by the <br />Humane Society of St. Joseph County, Inc., for the month of December, 1994. The report indicates <br />the type and umber of animals handled for the City of South Bend. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion <br />that the report be accepted for filing as submitted. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $533,897.09 and <br />recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern <br />Indiana, submitted one (1) list containing claims in the amount of $51,922.96 and recommended <br />approval. Ms. Ann Kolata, Department of Community and Economic Development, submitted <br />claims for the College Football Hall of Fame and recommended approval. Mr. Leszczynski made <br />a motion that the claims be approved and the reports as submitted be filed.
