<br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the Revision to the
<br />Lease Purchase Package was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - WATER WORKS
<br />BULDING RENOVATION - PROJECT NO. 94-93
<br />Mr. Leszczysnki noted that Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, has submitted
<br />a request to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. It was noted that bids
<br />were opened for this project on July 25, 1994, and were rejected on February 13, 1995, as the bid
<br />amounts exceeded the estimate. Upon amotion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell
<br />and carried, the request was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - ELBEL GOLF
<br />COURSE CART STORAGE FACILITY - PROJECT NO. 95-06
<br />Mr. Leszczysnki noted that Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, Division of Engineering, has submitted
<br />a request to advertise for the receipt to bids for the above referred to equipment. Mr. Littrell is
<br />submitting this request on behalf of the Park Department, and the project will construct a post -frame
<br />building to store and re -charge golf carts. Further, the plans and specification are being prepared
<br />by Wightman Petrie, Inc., 2340 Cassopolis Street, Elkhart, Indiana. Therefore, upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Leszczysnki, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the request was approved.
<br />REQUEST TO ACQUIRE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
<br />Mr. Richard Swanson, Habitat for Humanity, 6125 North Michigan Street, submitted a request for
<br />the acquisition of five (5) City -owned properties: 1612-1614 Philippa, 1616 Philippa, 1802 Phillipa,
<br />1808 Phillipa, and 1814 Philippa. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr.
<br />Leszczysnki and carried, the request was referred to the appropriate Bureaus for recommendation.
<br />REQUEST TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY - RIVER PARK PARTNERSHIP CENTER - 907 S.
<br />31 ST STREET
<br />Ms. Angela K. Jacob, President, River Park Neighborhood Association, has submitted a request to
<br />conduct a block party on 31st Street, from Mishawaka Avenue to Vine Street, on Saturday, May 13,
<br />1995, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Grand Opening of the River Park
<br />Partnership Center. Additionally, Saturday, May 20, 1995, was listed as a rain date. Upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the request was referred
<br />to the appropriate Bureaus for recommendation.
