47 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />00004 Hunter Corporation <br />00005 Hunter Corporation <br />00012 Colip Electric <br />Increase $3,842.45 <br />Increase $2,774.53 <br />Increase $605.00 <br />FEBRUARY 6, 1995 <br />$576,588.45 . <br />$579,362.98 <br />$540,772.76 <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above <br />referred to Change Orders were approved. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE LANDSCAPING - PROJECT <br />NO. 94-42 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. James Riggs, Blackthorn Project Manager, Department of <br />Community & Development, has submitted Change Order No. 1 indicating that the Contract amount <br />be increased $4,251.00 for a new Contract sum including this Change Order in the amount of <br />$24,740.50. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the <br />Change Order was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF TRIPLE TRAILER COMBINATION PERMIT <br />Mr. Leszczysnki stated that the following two (2) Triple Trailer Combination Permits have been <br />received: <br />ANR Freight System Inc. <br />2925 N. Foundation Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />Advanced Transportation Company <br />2903 N. Foundation Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />It was noted that these permits are valid for use of South Bend streets to exit and enter from the Toll <br />Road to the local terminal. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and <br />carried, the Permits were approved and executed. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF EAST <br />WASHINGTON <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition <br />as completed by Ms. Ann Kolata, South Bend Redevelopment Authority, to vacate the following <br />property: <br />5 feet off the south right-of-way of East Washington Street from the east right-of-way line <br />of South Michigan Street to the west right-of-way line of South St. Joseph Street for a <br />distance of approximately 333.01 feet <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this <br />Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, <br />Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. Therefore, Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation to the Common Council <br />concerning this Vacation Petition. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />RECOMMENDATION TO RELOCATE FLAG POLES - HOLIDAY INN DOWNTOWN <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski, the request to move pre- <br />existing flag poles on the public right-of-way at the Valley American Bank Building, Downtown <br />was referred to the appropriate Bureaus for consideration. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - SIGN INSTALLATION - INTERNATIONAL <br />BARTENDING INSTITUTE - 1805 S. MICHIGAN <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the Division <br />of Engineering, the Police Department, the Building Commissioner, and the Redevelopment Design <br />Review Committee concerning the request from Forest Sign to install a redwood sign at <br />
