436 <br />REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 30, 1996 <br />APPROVAL OF GRANT OF TEMPORARY EASEMENT <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that a Grant of Temporary Easement for 735 Lincolnway East, South Bend, <br />Indiana, has been submitted for the Board's approval, by John and Helen Hodurek, for a portion of <br />their building at Lincolnway West and Bronson, which encroaches into the right-of-way. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Grant of Temporary <br />Easement was approved. <br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Ken Zmudzinski, Pretreatment Coordinator, Division of <br />Environmental Services, submitted the following Wastewater Discharge Permits and recommended <br />approval: <br />1. Nimet Industries <br />2424 N. Foundation Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />2. Van Dyne Crotty <br />2810 Foundation Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />3. The Former Torrington Heavy Bearings Facility <br />3702 West Sample Street <br />South Bend, Indiana 46619 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Renewals for the <br />Industrial Wastewater Permit were renewed. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the following six <br />(6) traffic control devices were approved: <br />REMOVAL OF: <br />Handicap Sign <br />LOCATION: <br />1809 South Nash <br />REMARKS: <br />Signs are no longer needed. <br />REMOVAL OF: No Parking <br />REVISED TO: 2 Hour Parking 6 a.m. 6 p.m. <br />LOCATION: 900 Block Clover <br />REMARKS: Allow parking for area businesses <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap Sign <br />ADDRESS: 2318 Roger <br />REMARKS: Ms. Myra Barnes has met all requirements <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap Sign <br />LOCATION: 1621 East Bowman <br />REMARKS: Mr. Harshman has met all requirements <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Residential Parking - 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Tow Zone <br />LOCATION: 1000 East Wayne <br />REMARKS: Residential Parking - Met Warrants <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap Parking <br />LOCATION: 500 Block North Main <br />REMARKS: Mar Main Apartments - North Main/East Side <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR BOND <br />Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following <br />Contractor Bond be approved as follows: <br />
