Carroll <br />AUGUST 5. 1996 <br />3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. <br />Saturday, August 3, 1996 <br />5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. <br />Dennis Fountain Altgeld from Erskine to Fellows Saturday, August 24, 1996 <br />2319 Erskine Blvd. 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the <br />recommendations were approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT IOK WALKATHON - C H E E T A <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a <br />request as submitted by Ms. Janice Hildabridle, 5002 Cedarwood Lane, South Bend, Indiana to <br />conduct the above referred to walk, on Sunday, September 29, 1996, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 <br />p.m., , on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, <br />seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT CHRISTIAN MARCH ON VIOLENCE <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Code Enforcement, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to <br />a request as submitted by Ms. Janice L. Hall, Bride of Christ Ministries, 608 South St. Joseph Street, <br />South Bend, to conduct the above referred to march, on Saturday, September 28, 1996, from 9:00 <br />a.m. until 10:30 a.m., on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT RIVER PARK WALK AGAINST <br />CRIME <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Code Enforcement, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to <br />a request as submitted by Ms. Angie Jacob, President, River Park Neighborhood Association, and <br />the River Park Partnership Center to conduct the above referred to walk, on Tuesday, August 6, <br />1996, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - OPEN AIR STAND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following license application has been received: <br />NAME: <br />BY: <br />ADDRESS: <br />STAND TO BE LOCATED AT: <br />DATES: <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF: <br />Spencer's <br />Martha A. Additionally provided with the application was a letter of permission from the property <br />owner. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above <br />license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO ENCROACH ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY - <br />INSTALLATION OF SIGN - 121 WEST WAYNE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the <br />Division of Engineering, Police Department, Building Commissioner and the Redevelopment Design <br />Review Committee for the installation of one (1) double face internally illuminated sign under a <br />canopy display located at Gail's Nails & You, 121 West Wayne, per sketch as submitted, subject to <br />
