<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT A WALK FOR HEALTHY YOUTH -
<br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Ms. Donna Germain Voor, St. Joseph County Mental Health Association,
<br />211 West Madison, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to walk, on Saturday, May
<br />4, 1996, from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MAURICE MATTHYS LITTLE
<br />LEAGUE PARADE
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Mr. Rick Kring, Maurice Matthys Little League, 803 Greenview Avenue,
<br />South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to parade, on Saturday, May 4, 1996, from 9:00
<br />a.m. until 9:20 p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT SUNBURST RACE - MEMORIAL
<br />HOSPITAL
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Mr. Mark Chambers, Memorial Hospital, 615 North Michigan, South Bend,
<br />Indiana to conduct the above referred to race, on Saturday, June 8, 1996, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00
<br />p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MARCH FOR JESUS
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Ms. Lynne Davis, March Organizer, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the
<br />above referred to march, on Saturday, May 25, 1996, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., on the
<br />designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs.
<br />Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE DALE STREET - FIELD DAY - ST
<br />MATTHEW SCHOOL
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a
<br />request as submitted by Ms. Mary Anne Retseck, St. Matthew School, 1015 East Dayton, South
<br />Bend, Indiana to close Dale Street from Dayton and Dubail, and Dubail between Miami and Dale
<br />Street, in conjunction with Field Day, on Monday, June 3, 1996, from 10:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
<br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering and the Police Department, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Elizabeth
<br />Walker, 634 East Angela Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party, on Saturday, May 4, 1996, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on St. Louis Boulevard, from
