REGULAR MEETING APRIL 8. 1996 <br />have been stored more than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for auto theft and <br />the owners and lienholders notified. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. <br />Manier and carried, the above request was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - ONE (11 <br />DEROOTING MACHINE/ONE (1) RUBBER TIRED WHEEL TRACTOR <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment <br />Services, requested permission to advertise for the sale of bids for the above listed miscellaneous <br />equipment. Mr. Chlebowski stated that the funding for this equipment will be provided by the User <br />Department Capital Fund. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - SAMPLE EWING <br />REDEVELOPMENT AREA - SITE CLEARANCE PHASE II - STRUCTURE REMOVAL <br />PACKAGE 3 - PROJECT NO. 96-15-3 <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Dan Weisel, Division of Engineering, requested permission to <br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mr. Weisel stated that this project <br />will demolish two (2) commercial structures located in the above referenced area. The source of <br />funding for this project is Fund 414, the Sample Ewing TIF Allocation Fund. Therefore, upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the request to advertise for <br />the receipt of bids was approved. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $1,121,606.50, dated April <br />8, 1996, and recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS <br />of Northern Indiana, submitted two (2) lists containing claims in the amount of $183,997.14 and <br />$19,003.68 and recommended approval. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the claims be <br />approved and the reports as submitted be filed.
