Therefore, upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above license applications <br />were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of licenses. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - 1996 CURB AND <br />SIDEWALK PROGRAM - PROJECT NO. 96-09 <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, P.E., Director, Division of Engineering, <br />requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mr. Littrell <br />stated that this project will construct curbs, walks, driveway approaches and other public <br />improvements in this year's program. Further, a total of $700,000 to cover this construction has <br />been appropriated from the General Fund.
