<br />of boats and fishing tackle. Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been
<br />received by the Police Department, Fire Department and the Building Department. Mr. Mark
<br />Bradley, Century Center, was present to represent the Michiana Boat and Outdoor show.
<br />There being no one else present wishing to address the Board concerning this matter, the Public
<br />Hearing was closed. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier
<br />and carried, the Application for a Transient Merchant License was approved.
<br />PUBLIC HEARING - TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE - MICHIANA VALLEY HAMEEST
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing concerning a
<br />License Application for a Transient Merchant License, as submitted by Mr. Robert L. Denniston,
<br />21970 Kern Road, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the South Bend Hamfest at Century Center, on
<br />Sunday, January 7, 1996, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., for the sale of amateur radios and
<br />computers. Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the
<br />Police Department, Fire Department and the Building Department.
<br />There being no one present wishing to address the Board concerning this matter, the Public Hearing
<br />was closed. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried,
<br />the Application for a Transient Merchant License was approved.

<br />SHOWS. INC.
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing concerning a
<br />License Application for a Transient Merchant License, as submitted by Mr. Robert J. Sayre, 10
<br />South 267 Kaye Lane, Hinsdale, Illinois, to conduct the Michiana Golf Show at Century Center, on
<br />Friday, February 9, 1996, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 10, 1996, from 10:00
<br />a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday, February 11, 1996, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., for the sale
<br />of golf items. Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the
<br />Police Department, Fire Department and the Building Department.
<br />There being no one present wishing to address the Board concerning this matter, the Public Hearing
<br />was closed. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried,
<br />the Application for a Transient Merchant License was approved.
<br />OPENING OF BIDS - FIVE (5) MID -SIZE POLICE PATROL VEHICLES
<br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to vehicles.
<br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County
<br />News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read:
