Mr. Cottrell made a motion that the minutes be accepted. Mr. Alford seconded the motion <br />which carried. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE PROMOTION LIST <br />- Matt Baker <br />- Derek Erquhart <br />-Nate Giszewski <br />-Noel Hamilton <br />- John Hertel <br />- Aaron LaCava Douglas Salyer <br />In a letter to the Board, Chief Buchanon recommended the ten (10) above listed individuals be <br />approved for the list of candidates eligible for promotion from the rank of Firefighter 1 st Class to the <br />rank of Engineer, effective May 28, 2007. Chief Buchanon noted that the list is incompliance with <br />the 1994 Salary Ordinance which states that the rank of Engineer is a promotable rank. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Ms. Dempsey and carried, the above list of candidates <br />eligible for promotion to Engineer was accepted and approved. <br />Dan Luther <br />Chad Mastagh <br />Fronse Smith <br />James Streeter <br />1 <br />REQUEST FOR FIREFIGHTER RECRUIT TRAINING <br />Chief Howard Buchanon submitted to the Board a letter requesting permission to hire fifteen (15) <br />Fire Recruits as civilian City employees. The recruit class is scheduled to begin on July 9, 2007 for a <br />period of approximately twenty (20) weeks with an effective date of hire as Firefighters ofNovember <br />21, 2007. The names of the applicants are as follows: <br />-Karl Hopkins -Corey Powell <br />- Michael Williamowski -Jason Roose <br />- Michael Hewartson <br />- Joshua Comeau <br />- Matthew Zimmerman <br />- Aaron Randall <br />- Jason Biek <br />- Ryan Kakalia <br />- Brian Clark <br />- James Biernacki <br />-Nicholas Miller <br />- Jordan Jostes <br />- Mark Mammon <br />1 <br />Mr. Alford made a motion that the request be approved. Ms. Dempsey seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY STATISTICAL ANALYSIS -MAY 2007 <br />Chief Howard Buchanon submitted to the Board the Monthly Statistical Report for the month of May <br />2007 compiled by the Prevention/Inspection Bureau of the Fire Department.
