<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Diana Miller, Faith Apostolic Temple, 1318 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana to
<br />conduct the above referred to block party, on Saturday, August 23, 1997, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00
<br />p.m., on Diamond from Lincolnway West to LaPorte. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Curtis Leonard, 721 South Wellington, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to block party, on Saturday, September 6, 1997, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., on Wellington from
<br />Dunham to Ford. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Ann Romer, 1170 Echo Drive, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party, on Sunday, September 7, 1997, from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., on Echo Drive from Clayton
<br />to Kirby. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ICE CREAM SOCIAL
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Lester Bill, Woods Neighborhood, 1015 White Oak Drive, South Bend, Indiana to conduct
<br />the above referred to ice cream social, on Tuesday, August 26, 1997, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO ENCROACH ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY -
<br />GIFT OF WARMTH SIDEWALK SALES - NIPSCO
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Susan Thornberg, Northern Indiana Public Service Company, 307 North Michigan Street,
<br />South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to sidewalk sales for the Gift of Warmth Program,
<br />on Friday, September 5, 1997, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., in front of 307 North Michigan. Upon
<br />a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT THREE (3) MARCHES
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Cynthia Robinson, 445 South Walnut, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the following marches:
