<br />SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE TO THE NORTH LOT LINE, EXTENDED, OF
<br />OUTLOT "A" OF WELLS ELECTRONICS MINOR SUBDIVISION; THENCE
<br />EAST ALONG SAID LINE TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 1 OF
<br />OLIVE ROAD COMMERCE PARK -SECTION ONE SUBDIVISION; THENCE
<br />NORTH ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SUBDIVISION 660.06 FEET;
<br />THENCE WEST 240 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY
<br />LINE OF OLIVE ROAD; THENCE NORTH ALONG SAID LINE TO THE
<br />SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE INDIANA EAST -WEST TOLL ROAD;
<br />THENCE EAST ALONG SAID LINE TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
<br />OLIVE ROAD COMMERCE PARK -SECTION ONE SUBDIVISION ALSO
<br />BEING THE NORTH -SOUTH CENTER LINE OF SECTION 19; THENCE

<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS NEAR
<br />NORTHWEST PARTNERSHIP CENTER - CURB SIDEWALK AND APPROACH REPAIRS -
<br />PROJECT NO. 97-39
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Deb Martin, Engineering, requested permission to advertise for
<br />the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Ms. Martin stated that this project will remove,
<br />repair, and replace concrete curbs, sidewalks and approaches and re-establishment of the treelawn.
<br />The project will be financed through CDBG funds. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br />seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved.

<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Denise Christion, Atlanta Connection, 678 Lawndale Avenue, South Bend, Indiana to conduct
<br />the above referred to block party, on Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, 1997, from 9:00 a.m.
<br />until 6:00 p.m., on Lawndale from Lincolnway to LaPorte. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Kristel Borders, Keller Park Neighborhood Association, 946 Roosevelt, South Bend, Indiana
<br />to conduct the above referred to block party, on Saturday, September 13, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. until
<br />4:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
