Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. 'AWARD QUOTATION - RUBBLE REMOVAL - SAMPLE/HIGH STREETS Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, advised the Board that quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Villa recommends that the Board award the contract to LaFree Excavation, 1251 West Third Street, Osceola, Indiana, in the amount of $12,400.00. Therefore, Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - PUBLIC WORKS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM - ZONES 11A AND 11 B - PROJECT NO. 96-009 Mr. Littrell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, has submitted Change Order No. 1 on behalf of Niles Concrete, 2580 East Detroit, Niles, Michigan indicating that the Contract amount be decreased $32,217.67 for a new Contract sum including this Change Order in the amount of $34,286.83. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Change Order was approved. APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - SOUTH BEND PARKING STRUCTURE NO. 2 - 6E/6W AND 4W REPAIRS - PROJECT NO 96-76A Mr. Littrell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, has submitted the Project Completion Affidavit on behalf of Kaser Spraker Construction, 25487 West State Road 2, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred to project, indicating a final cost of $30,240.00. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was approved. APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - 1996 CONCRETE PAVEMENT REPAIRS - PROJECT NO. 96-61 Mr. Littrell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, has submitted the Project Completion Affidavit on behalf of Rieth Riley Construction, 25200 State Road 23, South Bend, Indiana, for the above referred to project, indicating a final cost of $112,036.08. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was approved.
