<br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be
<br />awarded as outlined above. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried.
<br />AWARD BID - ONE (1) 10' CARGO VAN
<br />Mr. Matt Chlebowski, Director, Division of Engineering, advised the Board that on March 17, 1997,
<br />bids were received and opened for the above referred to van. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the bid to Rudd Equipment, 2655 Kentucky Avenue,
<br />Indianapolis, Indiana in the amount of $78,873.00. Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Roemer seconded the
<br />motion which carried.
<br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - SAMPLE-EWING SITE CLEARANCE - PHASE III - PROJECT
<br />NO. 96-88
<br />Mr. Caldwell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, has submitted Change Order
<br />No. 2 on behalf of Warner and Sons, 29099 U.S. Highway 33, Elkhart, Indiana indicating that the
<br />Contract amount be increased $2,500.00 for a new Contract sum including this Change Order in the
<br />amount of $65,535.00. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried,
<br />the Change Order was approved.
<br />APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - NEW IRRIGATION SYSTEM - ELBEL
<br />GOLF COURSE. STUDEBAKER GOLF COURSE AND ERSKINE GOLF COURSE - PROJECT
<br />NO. 95-16
<br />Mr. Caldwell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, has submitted the Project
<br />Completion Affidavit, on behalf of Wissco Irrigation, Inc., 1820 South Bend Avenue, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, for the above referred to project, indicating a final cost of $651,780.61. Upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was
<br />approved.
