REGULAR MEETING MARCH 10, 1997 APPROVAL OF LEASE AGREEMENT - PURCHASE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY - 2221 AND 2215 SMITH STREET Mr. Caldwell stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and Mr. William Harris, 2212 West Smith Street, South Bend, Indiana, for the purchase of the above referred to City -owned 'properties. Mr. Caldwell noted that the Agreement is in the amount of $20.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed. APPROVAL OF RIGHT-OF-WAY APPRAISALS - IRONWOOD RECONSTRUCTION PHASE IV - RALPH LAUVER Mr. Caldwell stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and Ralph Lauver, 218 East Eckman, South Bend, Indiana, to perform right-of-way appraisals for the above referred to project. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 14-1997 - ACCEPT THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY FROM ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESOLUTION NO. 14-1997 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY FROM ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA WHEREAS, St. Joseph County, Indiana, (hereinafter, the "County") is the owner of various parcels of land within the City of South Bend, which were obtained by the County pursuant to the tax sale process; and WHEREAS, the care, custody and control of County real estate is vested in the County's Board of Commissioners pursuant to I.C. 36-2-3.5-4; and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana (hereinafter, the "City") desires to obtain ownership of-16 such parcels of property for community and economic development purposes, which parcels are described. more particularly as follows: Key Number Address Leal 18-2012-0266 1802 Longley Lot 248 Linden Place Addn 18-4012-0419 441 S.
