REGULAR MEETING JULY 20, 1998
<br />Section III. That the Board of Public Works shall and does hereby now establish and adopt the
<br />fiscal plan, attached hereto and made a part hereof, for the furnishing of said services to the territory
<br />to be annexed.

<br />THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 18, IN TOWNSHIP 38 NORTH,
<br />RANGE 2 EAST, GERMAN TOWNSHIP, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA MORE
<br />PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS:
<br />BEGINNING AT A POINT 430 FEET EAST OF THE HALF SECTION LINE OF SECTION 18,
<br />T. 38 N., R. 2 E.; THENCE 740 FEET EAST TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE
<br />U.S. 31 BYPASS, ALSO KNOWN AS THE ST. JOSEPH VALLEY PARKWAY; THENCE
<br />SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR 2,128.33 FEET TO A POINT 430
<br />FEET EAST OF THE HALF SECTION LINE OF SAID SECTION; THENCE NORTH 1,930
<br />FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - APPLICATION FOR CIRCUS OR CARNIVAL
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Park Department, Code Enforcement, Police Department and the City Attorney's office,
<br />in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Jose Pages, Post Office Box 303, Mayaka City, Florida
<br />to conduct the above referred to circus, on July 27, 1998, at the Armory at 1901 South Kemble,
<br />South Bend, Indiana. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Powell and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Verline Wilson, 220 North Brookfield, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to block party, on July 25, 1998, on Brookfield from Orange to Linden. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Ms. Tracy Clark, LaSalle Park Homes, 102 South Falcon, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the
<br />above referred to block party, on August 1, 1998, on South Falcon from Jefferson to Washington.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation
<br />was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of
<br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted
<br />by Mr. Andre Stoner, Post Office Box 1132, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to
<br />block parry, on August 4, 1998, on Cushing from Lincolnway West to Lindsey. Upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved.
