Mr. Powell seconded the motion which carried. AWARD OUOTATION - STANDARD SURPLUS BUILDING - ELECTRIC SERVICE RELOCATION - PROJECT NO. 98-59 Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, advised the Board that on July 13, 1998, quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to Trans Tech Electric, Post Office Box 3915, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $7,130.00. Therefore, Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Powell seconded the motion which carried. AWARD OUOTATION - SOUTH MICHIGAN DEMOLITION AND ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN UP - PROJECT NO. 98-58 Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, advised the Board that on July 7, 1998, quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. This was an emergency situation which allowed contaminated stockpiled soil to be removed. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Villa recommends that the Board award the contract to Ritschard Brothers, Inc., 1204 West Sample, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount not to exceed $115,170.00, based on 3,000 cubic yards. Therefore, Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Powell seconded the motion which carried. AWARD QUOTATION - RIVER PARK PARTNERSHIP CENTER SERVICE AREA - PROJECT NO. 98-22 I& Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, advised the Board that on July 13, 1998, quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Littrell recommends that the Board award the contract to Rieth Riley Construction Company, Inc., 25200 State Road 23, South Bend, Indiana in the amount of $51,147.38. Therefore, Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Powell seconded the motion which carried.
