Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BID - REMOVAL OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS - PROJECT NO. 98-34 Mr. Ken Zmudzinski, Environmental Services, advised the Board that on April 27, 1998, bids were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Zmudzinski recommends that the Board award the contract to Metro Environmental Contractors, Inc., I I I I West Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois in the amount of $15,472.50. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted* and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. AWARD QUOTATION - SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD SITE PREPARATION - PROJECT NO. 98-41-1 Mr. Marco Marian, Planning Department, advised the Board that on May 4, 1998, quotations were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Mariani recommends that the Board award the contract to Bradberry Brothers, Inc., 20061 West Dice Street, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $50,033.00. Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - 1997 SEWER LINING PROGRAM - PROJECT NO. 98-52 Mr. Caldwell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Public Construction Manager, has submitted Change Order No. 1 on behalf of Insituform Midwest, Inc., Post Office Box 458, Lemont, Illinois indicating that the Contract amount be increased $68,422.00 for a new Contract sum including this Change Order in the amount of $826,165.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the Change Order was approved.
