REGULAR MEETING Dye Mechanical Inc. Post Office Box 1728 LaPorte, Indiana 46350 AUGUST 23, 1999 Tree Preservation Company, Inc. Post Office Box 538 Willow Grove, Pennsylvania 19090-0538 APPROVE CONTRACTOR BONDS Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following Contractor Bonds be approved as follows: BOND OF CONTRACTOR Jamie Albright Approved Effective August 23, 1999 Bruce Majeski Approved Effective August 23,1999 Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved as outlined above. Mr. Powell seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE TITLE SHEETS - Ironwood/Inwood Lift Stations - Project No. 99-60 - Fellows Street Reconstruction - Broadway to Sample - Project No. 97-104 - Northeast Partnership Center - Sorin Street - Sidewalk, Curb, Approach and Ramp Repairs - Project No. 99-33 Mr. Caldwell advised that the Title Sheets for the above referred to projects were being presented at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Powell and carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and signed. APPROVE CLAIMS Ms. M. Catherine Roemer, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $2,166,998.30 and recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, submitted lists containing claims in the amount of $84,212.83 and recommended approval. Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the claims be approved and the reports as submitted be filed. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the meeting adjourned at.
