REGULAR MEETING MARCH 15, 1999 <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO CONDUCT "WORLD WIDE MARCH FOR <br />JESUS" - MARCH FOR JESUS <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department, Park Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a <br />request as submitted by Ms. Ellen Stanley, March for Jesus, Post Office Box 1573, Mishawaka, <br />Indiana, to conduct the above referred to march, on May 22, 1999, on the designated route as <br />submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Powell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT NEIGHBORHOOD STREET FAIR <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />�o by Mr. Charles Lavely, St. Patrick Church, 309 South Taylor, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the <br />above referred to street fair, on Wayne from Taylor to Scott, on August 14, 1999. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Powell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Powell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following license <br />' applications were approved: <br />Center City Associates <br />100 North Michigan <br />Center City Associates <br />300 South Michigan <br />Cathedral Church of St. <br />James <br />307-311 West Washington <br />Witmer-McNease Music Co. <br />420 South Main <br />Memorial Home Care <br />707 North Michigan <br />Memorial Home Care <br />621 Memorial Drive <br />Ampco System Parking <br />220 East Wayne <br />Ampco System Parking <br />120 North Main <br />Ampco System Parking <br />123 N. St. Joseph <br />Ampco System Parking <br />119 West Wayne <br />Ampco System Parking <br />211 North Lafayette <br />Ampco System Parking <br />214-216 West Wayne <br />Ampco System Parking <br />123 North Main <br />Ampco System Parking <br />322 South Lafayette <br />The above licence applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for <br />issuance of a license. It was noted that the required Proofs of Insurance as well as the hours and rates <br />to be charged were attached to the applications. <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE APPLICATIONS FOR RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />SERVICE <br />Mr. Caldwell stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from the Department <br />of Code Enforcement for aLicense Applications for Rubbish and Garbage Removal Service.
