<br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE
<br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following Certificates
<br />of Insurance were accepted for filing:

<br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHT TO REMONSTRATE
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to
<br />Remonstrate as submitted by Clay Ironwood, LLC. The Consent indicates that in consideration for
<br />permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service
<br />to 17690 St. Patrick's Court, Granger, Indiana, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 02-2013-0263-01 and
<br />02-2013-0263-02), Clay Ironwood waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or
<br />oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr.
<br />Gilot made a motion that the Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried.
<br />APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY - LAPORTE NORTH OF COLFAX - SLATILE
<br />ROOFING AND SHEET METAL
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc., 1703 South Ironwood, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, submitted an Application For and Permit Allowing Temporary Occupancy of Public
<br />Property, for masonry restoration at Colfax and LaPorte Avenue. Slatile Roofing will be
<br />reconstructing a wall near the church, and will be closing a lane of traffic for demolition, as well as
<br />the staging of their equipment. A $10,000 license bond was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Gilot, seconded by ms. Roemer and carried, the Temporary Occupancy Permit was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT 8TH ANNUAL WORLD HARVEST
<br />RIDERS - FEED THE HUNGRY RUN
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the St. Joseph County
<br />Commissioners office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Marty Snavely, Feed the Hungry,
<br />Post Office Box 12, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to motorcycle run, on August
<br />19, 2000, on the designated route as submitted, which included both City and County streets as part
<br />of the route. It was noted that the request was initially sent to the St. Joseph County Board of
<br />commissioners on June 15, 2000, and was approved by them on June 27, 2000. Upon a motion made
<br />by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND
<br />Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division ofEngineering, recommended that the following Excavation
<br />Bond be approved as follows:

<br />Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bond be approved as
<br />outlined above. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion which carried.
<br />APPROVE CLAIMS
<br />Ms. M. Catherine Roemer, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $857,113.16 and
<br />recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern
<br />Indiana, submitted a list containing claims in the amount of $361,882.35 and recommended approval.
