JULY 31, 2000 <br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br />Remonstrate as submitted by Baptist Mid Missions, 19525 Pendle, South Bend, Indiana. The <br />Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of <br />the City, to provide sanitary sewer service to 19525 Pendle, South Bend, Indiana, the Baptist Mid <br />Missions waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future <br />annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the <br />Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br />'je;monstrate as submitted by Mr. Phillip Burgess, 55675 Sundown Road, . The Consent indicates <br />that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide <br />sanitary sewer service to 55675 Sundown Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 17-1079-2850), Mr. <br />Burgess waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future <br />annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the <br />Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR BONDS <br />Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division ofEngineering, recommended that the following Contractor <br />Bonds be approved as follows: <br />BOND OF CONTRACTOR <br />ER -Lee Dawn Construction Company <br />Ratkay Concrete <br />Kevin Kenney <br />Richard Ziegler <br />Terry Gilbert <br />Approved Effective July 31, 2000 <br />Approved Effective July 31, 2000 <br />Approved Effective July 31, 2000 <br />Approved Effective July 31, 2000 <br />Approved Effective July 31, 2000 <br />Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved <br />as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY PERMIT FOR JOB TRAILER - <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTROL INC. <br />Mr. Timothy Conly, Construction Control, Inc., 409 East Cook Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, <br />submitted an Application for and Permit Allowing Temporary Occupancy of Public Property at 832 <br />North Lafayette, for their job trailer for the Madison School project, from July 27, 2000 through <br />August of 2002. Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, was present, and noted that further investigation <br />is needed regarding traffic control on Main Street next to the construction site. However, at this <br />time, the Occupancy Permit could be approved for the job trailer which is to be placed in the tree <br />lawn area. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the <br />Temporary Occupancy Permit for the job trailer was approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following traffic control <br />devices were approved: <br />Installation - Handicapped <br />2210 South Kendall <br />Ms. Brenner has met all <br />Accessible Parking Space <br />requirements <br />Signs <br />Installation - One Hour <br />Marion Street - Main to <br />Masonic Learning Center for <br />Parking <br />Lafayette, South Side <br />Children provides 45 minute <br />tutoring sessions. Parents <br />cannot find a place to park <br />because of the memorial <br />Hospital employees. <br />
