JULY 31, 2000 APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to Remonstrate as submitted by Baptist Mid Missions, 19525 Pendle, South Bend, Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service to 19525 Pendle, South Bend, Indiana, the Baptist Mid Missions waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to 'je;monstrate as submitted by Mr. Phillip Burgess, 55675 Sundown Road, . The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary sewer service to 55675 Sundown Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key # 17-1079-2850), Mr. Burgess waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the Consent be approved. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CONTRACTOR BONDS Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division ofEngineering, recommended that the following Contractor Bonds be approved as follows: BOND OF CONTRACTOR ER -Lee Dawn Construction Company Ratkay Concrete Kevin Kenney Richard Ziegler Terry Gilbert Approved Effective July 31, 2000 Approved Effective July 31, 2000 Approved Effective July 31, 2000 Approved Effective July 31, 2000 Approved Effective July 31, 2000 Ms. Roemer made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY PERMIT FOR JOB TRAILER - CONSTRUCTION CONTROL INC. Mr. Timothy Conly, Construction Control, Inc., 409 East Cook Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, submitted an Application for and Permit Allowing Temporary Occupancy of Public Property at 832 North Lafayette, for their job trailer for the Madison School project, from July 27, 2000 through August of 2002. Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, was present, and noted that further investigation is needed regarding traffic control on Main Street next to the construction site. However, at this time, the Occupancy Permit could be approved for the job trailer which is to be placed in the tree lawn area. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the Temporary Occupancy Permit for the job trailer was approved. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the following traffic control devices were approved: Installation - Handicapped 2210 South Kendall Ms. Brenner has met all Accessible Parking Space requirements Signs Installation - One Hour Marion Street - Main to Masonic Learning Center for Parking Lafayette, South Side Children provides 45 minute tutoring sessions. Parents cannot find a place to park because of the memorial Hospital employees.
