REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 21, 2000 <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE RENEWAL FOR RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />Mr. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable a recommendation from Code <br />Enforcement for a License Application Renewal for LeRoy Gorden Sr., South Bend, Indiana. Upon <br />a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the License Application was <br />approved. <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE RENEWAL FOR RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />Mr. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable a recommendation from Code <br />Enforcement for a License Application Renewal for Kurtis Edward Rochefort, South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the License Application <br />was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE RENEWAL FOR RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />Mr. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable a recommendation from Code <br />Enforcement for a License Application Renewal for Jose C. Granados, South Bend, Indiana. Upon <br />a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the License Application was <br />approved. <br />APPROVAL OF LICENSE RENEWAL FOR RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />Mr. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable a recommendation from Code <br />Enforcement for a License Application Renewal for Willie J. Alsanders, South Bend, Indiana. Upon <br />a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the License Application was <br />approved. <br />APPROVE RECOMMENDATION - FIFTH ANNUAL RIVERSIDE RUN <br />Ms. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of a request from the South Bend Parks and <br />Recreation Department for the Riverside Run. The event is to take place on June 17, 2000, <br />beginning at 8:00 a.m. and will start at Pinhook Park to Riverside Drive and ending at Pinhook Park. <br />The request received favorable recommendations from the Police Department, Traffic and Lighting, <br />and the Park Department. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE RECOMMENDATION -SOUTH BEND LIONS BICYCLE RIDE <br />Ms. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of a recommendation request from the South Bend <br />Lions Club. The event is to take place on September 10, 2000, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The route for <br />the rides is outlined in the submitted request. The request received favorable recommendations from <br />the Police Department, Traffic and Lighting, and the Park Department. Therefore, upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved <br />APPROVE RECOMMENDATION - PUBLIC PROPERTY VACATION <br />Ms. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of a recommendation request for a public property <br />vacation of Tutt Street from the west right of way of Main Street to the east right of way of Lafayette <br />street. The request received favorable recommendations from the City's Attorney, Economic <br />Development, Police Traffic Department, Engineering, Solid Waste, and the Area Plan Commission. <br />Area Plan Commission has approved subject to any utility easements that may be required. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE RECOMMENDATION - ALLEY VACATION <br />Ms. Roemer stated that the Board is in receipt of a recommendation request for an alley vacation of <br />the first east/west alley south of Sherwood Street from the east right of way of the first north/south <br />alley west of Michigan street to the west right of way of Michigan Street. The request received <br />favorable recommendations from the City's Attorney, Economic Development, Police Traffic <br />Department, Engineering, Solid Waste, and the Area Plan Commission. Area Plan Commission has <br />approved, subject to any utility easements that may be required. Therefore, upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Littrell, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the recommendation was approved <br />
